Site: 30' x 55'
Location: Bangalore

The plot was 30'x55' in size. The requirement was for a dual dwelling unit with the main living areas in the first floor and the bed rooms in the second floor. The challenge was to bring in, the best of nature in the first floor and the second floor. This was achieved by multiple gardens and skylights in the upper floors. The spaces were also made to look larger by providing visual connectivity between the floors.

The elevation had to be very modern and at the same time very simple with straight lines. The first floor is made to look very light and sandwiched between solid looking second floor and first floor. There is a heavy usage of wood balanced by the large glass windows, to give it a modern feel.
