House Dawn
A typical site in the urban context, which is restricted in its size, and hence, limited area for parking and open green spaces.
The design approach was to provide a good balance between built and the un-built spaces. This was achieved by making the lowest level partly below and the intermediate level, partly above the road , providing ample space for parking and green spaces. Every level has its own green space, and they spill into each other. The focal point being the garden in level 2,with every space in level 2 and level 3 looking into this garden.
Importance was given in using natural materials like the exposed brick work, logs for railing, mud plastering, lime wash etc.
